TJ was a keen amatuer boxer when he was teens then he became interested in martial arts and excelled at judo and karate. He always enjoyed music and often went dancing,he went to clubs in the sixties and along with his sister ,he was asked to appear on the then trendy Top of the pops as a n audience member,They liked to ask the most lively dancers to take part.He was fond of Motown and the Mod acts of the day.
